What you’ll receive
The first image is the original Home Entry HE60R. It hasn’t been manufactured for years. The second image is the compatible replacement we supply, and that’s what will arrive.
It’s coded for Home Entry, so it pairs to the receiver already inside your opener. Nothing in the motor needs changing and there are no extra parts to buy.
Which openers it suits
HE60 · HE60R · HE60ANZ · HE4331.
If your opener isn’t one of those, send us a photo of the label on the motor and we’ll check before you spend anything.
The remote itself
Four buttons under a sliding cover, which keeps the door from being set off by everything else in a pocket or a handbag. It runs up to three doors from the one handset.
433MHz rolling code — a different code every press, so it can’t be recorded from the driveway and played back.
Ships with the CR2032 fitted. The battery compartment needs a tool to open: it’s tested and certified to AS62368.1, Australia’s button battery safety standard, which matters if there are small children in the house.
Fitting it
Everything we sell is DIY, so you’re not paying a technician for something you can do yourself. Plain-English programming instructions and a key ring are included.
One thing to know before you order: to pair a new remote you have to reach the control panel on the motor itself, which usually means a ladder. The remote end is simple; the motor end is up there. If you’d rather not climb, tell us your postcode and we’ll recommend an installer near you — you’d pay them directly for the callout, it isn’t something we arrange or cover.
